Al-Aqiq Governorate

Al-Aqiq Governorate

Al-Aqiq Governorate is one of the most important and prominent governorates ‎of Al-Baha Province due to its geographical location. It links Al-Baha City with ‎the various governorates of the Province. It also serves as a meeting point for Al-‎Baha Province and neighboring provinces as Riyadh, Asir, and Makkah Al-‎Mukarramah. It is the aerial gateway to Al-Baha Province as King Saud bin ‎Abdulaziz Airport is situated therein in Al-Baha. With its valleys, nature, ‎moderate climate, progress, and development, it surpasses the other ‎governorates of Al-Baha Province appearing each year in a new guise. This is ‎thanks, first and foremost, to Allah, the Almighty, and then to the care and ‎attention provided by our wise government under the leadership of the ‎Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His ‎Royal Highness the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al ‎Saud and His Highness Emir of Al-Baha Province HRH Prince Dr. Hussam bin ‎Saud. Al-Aqiq Governorate is a distinctive tourist destination for equestrian ‎enthusiasts, camping lovers and those seeking an authentic Bedouin ‎experience. It has further tourist attractions such as valleys, farms, and heritage ‎sites. Therefore, we decided to develop a guide shedding light on Al-Aqiq ‎Governorate, all its centers, government departments and the most prominent ‎landmarks, historical sites and recreational areas therein. It is intended to ‎provide a valuable resource for visitors to Al-Baha Province in general, and Al-‎Aqiq Governorate in particular. Through this guide, we look forward to ‎satisfying the aspirations of visitors to the Province. May Allah grant us success ‎and perpetuate upon our country the blessings of security and safety under the ‎leadership of our wise government.‎
